Playdays: 'Holiday Camp' [Playground Stop] (1994) - FULL EPISODE

Описание: Dave Benson Phillips and Elizabeth Fost are in Skegness showing us all the fun you can have on holiday. That said, while I'm sure most of you came here for the Playdays nostalgia, by accident this episode serves as a perfect time capsule for what Butlin's was like circa 1994. There's Wizzy World, Hop the Rabbit, a clown workshop with the associated juggling and stilts and all that, the "Tin Can Parade", a game of beach boules, mini fork-lift trucks, and so much more. I really have no idea how much of this sort of thing still goes on these days, to be honest. I mean, they've obviously deliberately focused on the more traditional activities (and steered well clear of the arcades - which were at their peak around this time - for instance), but what an amazing slice of British history this is!
