As the class of 2021 waits to receive their matric results this week, many will be looking forward to studying at universities and colleges across the country. But for a small percentage who are still deciding what to do, a gap year offers opportunities to learn new skills, earn money and travel. However, school leavers are urged to organise themselves well to avoid wasting valuable time.
Education Specialist at Boston City Campus, Dr Deonita Damons, shares some tips for a productive gap year.
