Acrylic painting of rose painted on a vibrant red and orange sponge painted background using shading and highlighting techniques. I painted this by painting a rose with a script liner paintbrush. I added highlighting to the outer edges of the petals with yellow acrylic paint and a angle shader paintbrush. I shaded the rose petals with dark red. This is an easy painting, great for the beginner painter! I use inexpensive art supplies to create this artwork. Have fun painting and happy creating!
