Aros Mackey is a political activist that works behind the scenes to combat freedom and liberty damaging legislation. Understanding that the world is in poor economic shape, he has put his talents to work by creating or by saving fun community festivals, some of them have influenced tens of thousands of people. He feels that if people will volunteer their time and help with such festival, when they have no jobs, they will be improving
the quality of living for themselves and for others.
Most of all, Aros is sending out a call to help at the switch points of freedom and is
asking you to attend legislative meetings or if you cannot make it, at least read the agendas and minutes. "Please don't just leave your political systems up to the professionals, anymore. You can have a significant influence if you will just participate."
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
