The 2025 Interpreter Foundation Birthday Party

Описание: On the evening of Saturday, 9 August 2025, the Interpreter Foundation held its thirteenth annual birthday party. These are modest events intended to thank our volunteers and selected donors for their labor and their financial support. Without them, Interpreter’s accomplishments wouldn’t be possible. They are also occasions to report on what we’ve done during the previous year and what we are currently doing. We want to extend those thanks and that report to those who were unable to attend, so we’re making a video available of the event.
The program on 9 August was held at a chapel in south Orem, Utah. Among other things, it featured a meal and vocal and instrumental music. (Meat for the meal was generously provided and expertly smoked by Bruce Webster, one of the rotating hosts of the Interpreter Radio Show and, now, the Interpreter Foundation Podcast.). Steve Densley conducted the formal program, which included a report on the major accomplishments of the prior twelve months by Allen Wyatt and a progress report on the Foundation’s film project in Africa, Not by Bread Alone, from Jeff Bradshaw. Mark Goodman then introduced a selection of snippets from the Foundation’s forthcoming series of short documentary videos, Becoming Brigham. Because the music and color for those snippets were not in their final finished form, we have elected not to include them in this video.
