Patan Durbar Square is one of the three royal palace squares located in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated in the heart of the city of Lalitpur, it is a spectacular showcase of Newari architecture and craftsmanship.

The square was the former royal palace of the Malla Kings of Lalitpur. Its history dates back to the Licchavi period, but most of the current structures were built during the Malla era between the 16th and 18th centuries.
