This video contains content describing the use of Oversize and Overweight Vehicles in the Highway Transportation System and the use of safe driving techniques to maneuver safely.
The Highway Transportation System (HTS) is comprised of people, vehicles and roadways…its main purpose is to move people, vehicles and cargo safely and efficiently from one point to another. One of the many ways cargo is transported across the HTS, is via “oversize” vehicle.
These oversize/overweight vehicles are used to transport a multitude of large cargo, such as heavy equipment & machinery, manufactured housing, bales of hay, building supplies & materials, portable buildings, homes, highway construction materials, wind turbines & blades and cranes, to name a few.
