Access to quality healthcare in South Africa comes at an already exorbitant cost, with private medical aid health giants now increasing their 2017 premiums by well over the inflation rate.
One of the biggest schemes in the country, Discovery Health, recently announced that members should expect a double-digit increase of at least 10% on contributions for next year.
