Analysis of the Theological Interpretation of Scripture

A hermeneutic that has been and continues to be developed in the twenty-first century is that of the theological interpretation of Scripture (TIS). It was developed as a response to some of the pitfalls and presuppositions of historical-critical hermeneutics. While TIS does provide some benefits and positives, there are several problems and critiques that should be noted.
