In Jajpur district under Dharmasala tehsil, the administration has begun an eviction drive at the farmhouse of former MLA Pranab Balabantaray in Panturi. Using JCB machines, officials demolished the boundary wall and structures built on encroached land. Reports suggest that out of 12 acres and 88 decimals of land, 1 acre and 10 decimals were allegedly encroached upon, including a goat farm structure.
