How to distort and change a model in xShape, the online 3D CAD option for more organic shapes that is part of 3DEXPERIENCE from Dassault Systemes, makers of SolidWorks and CATIA. This program pairs well with xDesign.
How to experiment with the Flex tool and the Arc Bend tool in xShape. I find both tools a bit hard to predict. They are both best used for stretching or making big changes to the whole subdivision or large parts of it. Takes some practice and experimentation to get the results you would like.
Created for use in the Voyager Middle School STEAM Lab class with middle school students.
