It's definitely time to appreciate and savour the Class 43 HST power-cars before they're gone! Sad news recently about the GWR Castle sets being retired from service in 2023 - That will leave Scot Rail as the only operator of any size with a small number remaining at XC also.
There was plenty of power cars on show whilst capturing this footage - With a nice mix of those with their carriages in formation, a couple back-to-back and also as a single units.
