The government could bring those earning up to ₹25,000 per month under the ambit of the Employee Pension Scheme. Currently, only those earning up to ₹15,000 per month are covered under EPS. If the government takes this decision in the budget, it will directly benefit more than 6.5 crore EPFO ​​subscribers.
