Iowa is my number one album all time, literally every track hits and has rotated to be my favorite at some point in time (except for I am hated)
Self titled comes pretty close but just doesn't quite hit the same highs for me that Iowa does, its still got some of my favorites like (Sic) and Eyeless
WANYK was a good return to form with Corey's best vocal performance since Iowa, and probably my favorite single from any album the band has done in Unsainted
TESF is underrated IMO, definitely not their strongest work but it has some great songs like Medicine for the Dead and Hivemind, and it feels like a more solid overall listening experience than some of the albums lower on my list
AHIG is overhated, again it isn't the bands strongest but to me it isn't a bad album by any stretch, it does have weak moments but songs like Psychosocial (Ik Ik its overplayed but it still bangs) and Gematria really push it forward and make it an enjoyable listen still
Vol. 3 is the first album I actually don't like and it has nothing to do with the songwriting, I just personally don't enjoy Corey's vocal style on this one and it makes it really hard to get into, but with that being said most of the songs are really good outside of that and are really fun live
TGC is the only Slipknot album I haven't listened to in its entirety in one sitting, I really don't enjoy the production on this one and the songwriting is probably the weakest in the bands whole discography, it does still have some standouts like The Negative One, but overall it just misses the mark for me
