Exciting visit to the former residence of prominent Ketton horticulturist Thomas Burroughes, who's tree planting throughout the village now treats visitors to a spectacular array of mature exotic trees. This video takes place in what was once his garden, where I suspect his Redwood planting spree began, with one lone Giant Sequoia on the banks of the river Chater. The biggest and likely oldest in the village.
35m tall, 733cm girth.
