It was a German one-two-three in the two-man bobsleigh at the Winter Olympics in Germany, as Francesco Friedrich continued his dominance in the sport by again teaming up with Thorsten Margis to retain their title ahead of Johannes Lochner and Florian Bauer in Beijing, with the four-man still to come. British pair Brad Hall and Nick Gleeson crashed during the third run but returned for a fourth.
