Life on the Road: Winter Tires & an Update Before the Next Municipality

Men som så ofte ellers på veien, ble det ikke helt slik jeg hadde sett for meg.
Feil dimensjoner, feil bolter - en påminnelse om at selv små forberedelser kan ta uventede omveier.
I denne korte oppdateringen deler jeg noen tanker om tålmodighet, små feil og den stille humoren som oppstår i hverdagslivet på tur.
Dette handler ikke om å skynde seg videre.
Det handler om å ta ting som de kommer, rette opp én ting av gangen, og fortsette reisen – i rolig tempo.

This was meant to be a simple task.
Ordering winter tires for the caravan. Nothing dramatic. Nothing complicated.

But as often happens on the road, things didn’t turn out quite the way I imagined.
Wrong dimensions, the wrong bolt – a reminder that even small preparations can turn into unexpected detours.
In this short update, I reflect on patience, small mistakes, and the quiet humor of everyday travel life. Somewhere between winter tires and waiting, a slightly absurd thought appears – a self-declared competition with the King.
This is not about rushing forward.
It’s about accepting where you are, fixing one thing at a time, and continuing the journey – calmly.
