Bahnhof Freiberger Straße, Dresden, Saxony, Germany - 7th July, 2015

Описание: Dresden Freiberger Straße railway station, is a small S-Bahn station located between Dresden Hauptbahnhof and Dresden Mitte, at the intersection of Freiberger Straße and the main road Ammonstraße, over the road from the Dresden World Trade Centre and next to the Tram station of the same name. It is a busy transportation hub for this part of the city. The railway station consists of an island platform for local S-Bahn services S1 from Meissen to Schöna, and S2 from Pirna to Dresden Airport.

There are four railway lines that pass the station, these carry trains that do not stop there, these include: local S-Bahn services; regional VVO services; EuroCity Express services travelling between Hamburg and Budapest; ICE trains travelling across Germany; and a wide range of freight traffic that includes container trains, coal trains, steel trains, car trains and intermodal freight.

This film features all of the above mentioned train types either stopping at or passing Freiberger Straße railway station, as well as the surrounding buildings and infrastructure, including the Sächsischer Bergsteigerbund (SBB) climbing wall, which has (rather unbelievably) remained graffiti free and clean since its construction.
