Ramakanta Bhoi, who was involved in cross-voting, has made a sensational claim stating that he was taken from his house “like a criminal” and escorted to Naveen Niwas. He alleged that he was not allowed to leave even after 10 PM and remained there till around midnight against his will.

Bhoi said he questioned those present, asking whether they needed his vote or wanted him to stay at Naveen Niwas. He claimed that the mental distress and anger he experienced during the incident were reflected in his voting decision.
