In today’s experiment we have one of our volunteers, Milena, show us how to make dancing raisins. By exploring some of the properties of raisins and carbonated beverages, we will make raisins “dance” and explain why that happens. This experiment also reflects how carbonated beverages are actually produced and why we hear a “pop” when opening a soda can. For this experiment you’ll need a clear glass/cup, a few raisins, and your choice of clear carbonated soda. You can skip ahead to 0:21 to jump straight to the experiment!
