uPVC Door Spraying | How to Spray PVC

Описание: Using a compressor and a HVLP HTE gun setup. The gun is the Anest Iwata AZ3 HTE2 pressure feed gun with a remote 2 litre pressure pot. Spraying Kolorbond Original to transform a tired old uPVC door. Turning it into an Anthracite modern uPVC door with a factory finish.

Gentilin CSK240/24 Ultra Quiet Oil-Free Air Compressor
SpraymanUK 2 litre Pressure Cup
2 metre air / material hose
Anest Iwata Pressure Feed HVLP Gun (HTE) - High Transfer Efficiency

You can achieve the same result using a HVLP paint sprayer. The advantages of conventional spray painting, with a spray painting pressure pot..

Vs gravity or siphon cup, you have direct control over the fluid coming to the gun, with independent control of the fluid line and air line.

Less thinning / rarely needing to thin material with more atomising air available at the gun Vs a gravity or siphon cup. With gravity and siphon feed, some air is diverted to pressurise the cup.

A HVLP Turbine sprayer has a limit of 10 psi atomising air at the gun, air spraying with a compressor can go higher. Although the more air, the lower the transfer efficiency, so the trick is to use just the right amount of air to atomise the material / break up the paint to achieve the smallest of droplets.

Lastly.. More material can be sprayed without having to refill. You get more manoeuvrability at the wrist to get into tight spaces and less weight in the hand.
