What would fall be without pumpkins? Every year the joy when the first ones appear and orange finally dominates the plate.
Apart from the great color and the delicious taste, pumpkin is also a great source of vitamins (especially beta-carotene), minerals and fiber.
Baked in the oven - in my opinion, it couldn't be quicker, easier or better. I love this oven-baked pumpkin and in the fall I bake many a round pumpkin this way.
Recipe and description:
½ Hokkaido pumpkin
Olive oil, salt, pepper
100 g feta cheese
Pumpkin seeds
Remove the seeds from the pumpkin. You can leave the skin on the Hokkaido. Cut the pumpkin into slices approx. 2 cm thick and place on a baking tray. Brush with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
Place in the preheated oven. Approx. 200 °C for about 15 minutes. Then remove, turn the slices over, sprinkle with the crumbled feta and pumpkin seeds. Continue baking until the desired doneness.
