Iran says it destroyed 'espionage headquarters' of Israel's Mossad in Iraq

Описание: Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims to have destroyed the "espionage headquarters" of Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, in Iraq. The IRGC reported launching ballistic missiles against espionage centres near Erbil, a city in northern Iraq.

Explosions were heard about 40 kilometres northeast of Erbil in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region, resulting in two dead and five wounded civilians. The IRGC stated, "Ballistic missiles were used to destroy espionage centres and gatherings of anti-Iranian terrorist groups in the region late tonight."

The US State Department condemned the attacks near Erbil, labelling them "reckless." Officials clarified that no US facilities were targeted, and there were no US casualties. Adrienne Watson, spokesperson for the White House National Security Council, mentioned, "We tracked the missiles, which impacted in Northern Iraq and Northern Syria. No US personnel or facilities were targeted."
