The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is thrilled to share that the Chesapeake Bay Week Film Festival returns next month with four screening events in partnership with Maryland Public Television!
The festival begins Saturday, April 5 at 2pm, with a family-friendly screening of "Creatures of the Chesapeake" followed by the chance to meet some Chesapeake critters that is free for CBMM members and included with general admission.
On Monday, April 7, at 5:30pm, we're offering a unique screening and tasting in which participants will enjoy a film-inspired tasting plate from Garden & Garnish Catering while viewing two selections from the "Eatin' the Chesapeake" series.
We're also proud to showcase a pair of new films with a "Resurrecting Poplar Island" screening and discussion on Thursday, April 10, at 5:30pm and "Chesapeake Rhythms" screening with filmmakers with filmmakers Tom Horton, Dave Harp, and Sandy Cannon-Brown on Wednesday, April 16, at 5:30pm.
