René Lévesque Park (French: Parc René-Lévesque) is an urban park in the south west of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the borough of Lachine on a jetty between the Saint Lawrence River and the end of the Lachine Canal. Approximately 140,000 m2 in area, it is named after René Lévesque, the prime minister of Quebec from 1976 to 1985.
Parc René-Lévesque offers a panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River. You can enjoy a stroll through the park on foot, or a bike ride along the peninsula. Excellent for biking, rollerblade, and yoga. On its various paths, you will discover a collection of more than 22 artworks presented by the Musée plein air de Lachine, one of the largest outdoor sculpture museums in Canada.
In winter, visitors can cross-country ski on the bicycle path, which is cleared of snow for the season.
