The drive belt or serpentine belt connects to a number of pulleys on the engine that keeps everything working in order. If this belt breaks while you’re on the road then it could cause a lot of unwanted problems.
The best way to make sure your belt is ok is to shine a light on the bottom part of the drive belt or serpentine belt where you can see the ridges. You always want to look on the sides of the best and then the top of the drive belt or serpentine belt. If you know lots of wear and tear and cracks on the drive belt or serpentine belt then it’s time to replace it.

The drive belt on the Hyundai Sonata YF is located on the passenger side of the engine in a very very tight spot. Not too many tools can fit into that spot. Good thing you’re watching this DIY video.
