A prayer for change. I chose to feature clips of the world in its state pre and post industrialization to demonstrate this shift in life-way that is ultimately very out of touch with the natural world.
The clips I used of people hunting and gathering and sailing are from the indigenous cultures in Papua New Guinea (Toulambi) and the South Pacific (Satawalese). I chose these clips because I wanted to demonstrate the beauty of a life embedded in nature. And unfortunately, as more prairies turn into Walmarts, and forests turn into new developments, these native cultures are quickly becoming extinct across the world as a result.
A step forward toward a more earth-centric life-way is a necessary and beautiful change I hold a strong vision for.
