🇺🇦💠✈️🙏SBU's "Alfa" Unit Sets a Record for Downing Enemy Aircraft-Type UAVs

Описание: 💥 The center for special operations "Alfa" of the Security Service of Ukraine set a record for destroying enemy aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) among all units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in 2025.

The crews of the "Alfa" interceptors neutralized 2,220 enemy drones over the year - the highest efficiency indicator in this segment of air defense combat.

Among the targets hit were both strike and reconnaissance UAVs of the enemy: "Shahid", "Gerani", "Molniya", "Lantset", "Zali", "Orlan", "Merlin", "Italmas", "Skat" and other types of drones that Russia actively uses for terrorizing Ukrainian cities and conducting aerial reconnaissance.

Special attention deserves the so-called "high-value" targets. In particular, the "Alfa" operators destroyed Russian medium-altitude strike-reconnaissance UAVs of long flight duration such as the "Orion", the cost of which exceeds $5 million per unit.

The systematic work of the unit in intercepting enemy UAVs significantly weakens the enemy's ability to conduct reconnaissance and launch new attacks, and also directly affects the security of Ukrainian cities, positions of the Defense Forces and critical infrastructure.
