Sheep Farming: Back To The Farm! / September 19, 2022

Описание: Today at Ewetopia Farms, we wanted to catch up on the things we missed doing while we were away showing sheep yesterday. Luckily, the ewes waited until we got back to start lambing. So this morning we were able to show you our first lambing of the season that needed assistance. We deliver a breech lamb and his twin sister. We show you the birth and how we get them into the jugs afterwards. Plus we discuss other problems associated with the birth. We also checkup on our ewe with the bloody milk to see if she will recover or not. Thank you for joining us and I hope you enjoy your visit!

With sheep farming, there is always something new to learn. At Ewetopia Farms, we try to incorporate learning opportunities when we encounter them as we go through daily life on our working sheep farm. We attempt to show life as it truly is on our farm and to present things with a touch of humour.
