Labor Day weekend 2020 was a great time to social distance on the trails in South west Colorado. My Wife’s Brother and Sister in law we’re celebrating their 18th anniversary and asked us to join them on a overland trip on the Alpine Loop in Colorado. We drove first to Durango then up to Silverton CO. There we made our way up to Anamas Forks Ghost town and over the Engineer Pass. We spent the night outside of Lake City Co. and finished Cinnamon pass the next afternoon.
We ended by spending the night in Durango the last night before our journey home. We had an electrical wire break and put us in limo mode on the road at home. We were able to stop in Moab at Dixie 4 Wheel who quickly found the wire found to a cam shaft sensor and repaired it.
A great trip and I highly recommend this weekend trip to southern Colorado!
