Talk to carpenters that have jobs in the area. Give a firm handshake and look them in the eyes. If the carpenters union was easy to join. They would have lay people off daily. The carpenters union and apprenticeship are life changing. This career isn't for everyone. But those willing to struggle and overcome will be rewarded.
