20. MSP & Sustainable marine governance
The aim of this webinar is to explain the meaning of sustainable marine governance in the context of global ocean governance. Webinar answers on a couple of important questions: is sustainable marine governance only an idea, or is it a normative theory that needs to be created, or is it an empirical phenomenon, or perhaps a seed of a network structure? In addition to the terminology and meaning of sustainable marine governance, webinar briefly presents the concept of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development as well as Ocean Governance and Marine Spatial Planning Policy Brief and EU Agenda for the Ocean.
