Note: Excuse the watermark at the start of the video, I am testing out video editors and am using a trial version of PowerDirector.
I found this bulb for $14.99 at Home Depot today (March 13, 2016) and compare it to my older Philips Hue LUX white bulb. (The LUX was $30 when released.)
They seem equally bright also the new White bulb can get a little dimmer than the LUX (which could already get very dim.)
I would say when factoring price, compatibility and light quality, this is the best white Hue compatible bulb out there right now.
