The political weather in Karnataka is heating up with less than a fortnight left for the assembly elections. Campaigning in the gateway of the South has entered its final stage and every day is turning out to be eventful. On Thursday, Senior Congress leaders Randeep Singh Surjewala, Dr Parmeshwar, and DK Shivakumar have filed a police complaint in Bengaluru's High Grounds Police Station against Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah and organisers of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally for making provocative statements, promoting enmity and hatred and maligning opposition. Moments later PM Modi, while addressing BJP workers, called for an end to the revdi culture (freebie culture) and took potshots at the Congress.
