Off the line, Launch Control (specifically developed for track driving) provides optimal traction
for consistently fast standing starts.
The Electronic Brake Booster helps to deliver a more connected, confident and consistent pedal
feel even in high performance driving scenarios, while the Electronic Limited Slip Differential
(eLSD) gives the Focus ST greater traction and stability by individually distributing the optimal
power to each front wheel. The advanced performance system continuously monitors vehicle
behaviour to optimise the torque split between drive wheels, meaning you can power through
corners with maximum grip and control.
Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) absorbs the shock of uneven roads. The system
monitors changes in the surface, using 12 high-res sensors, and will automatically adjust individual suspension settings to ensure an outstanding ride and dynamics.
