Air pruning roots is a growing technique where either grow bags or landscape fabric is used to air prune roots. Air pruning roots in gardening is a very interesting technique where the roots grown in air pruning containers like grow bags or baskets lined with landscape fabric are air pruned and they die and grow back vigorously.

We discuss two diy air pruning techniques - one using grow bags as containers for air pruning where we use cheap Walmart grow bags for air pruning roots and another where we use a basket and wrap landscape fabric around it to create an air pruning environment.
