Maradu incident is only a tip of an iceberg, considering the large number of unethical and unlawful activities happening in the Real Estate domain. By a series of videos, we are trying to expose the common malpractices and tricks used by some builders to lure an innocent buyer in to difficult situations such as what happened in Maradu, Kerala. Due to the absence of an official single window process to verify and authenticate the paper trail of required documents , it's often very difficult for a common man to identify and verify illegal activities and mis practices happening in Real estate domain. The evil/corrupt nexus between the law enforcers , builders and the scarcity of knowledge/transparency in public domain regarding this process makes it much more difficult. This makes buying a flat is more a “leap of faith” for a common man rather than a well informed choice. Our intention is to make the process a well informed one and as transparent as possible for common people. We hope that exposing such common pitfalls in this domain and sharing all the relevant information in a simple manner will empower a common person to make a well informed decision rather than taking a leap of faith when it comes to buying a flat/house/plot/any shelter for that matter.
