Telstra points can now get you discounts on your bill

25,300 points for a $30 once-off discount
30,300 points for a $5 discount each month for the next 12 months
or 60,600 points for a $10/mth discount for the next 12 months.

It isn't the best value, but it is a practical way to use your points.
