Haleji Lake which most people know by the name of Khooni Lake because of the crocodile infestation and crocodile incidents with humans. This lake has been a picnic spot for the people of Karachi and Thatta but lately the because of incidents many people avoid going to the lake. The lake is just 95 kilometers from Karachi and is a peaceful escape for a day out. As per the locals and wildlife department the crocodiles have not happened in recent years and is safe to visit the lake but swimming in the lake is prohibited.
