Learn Siding Brake Basics for beginners! Watch basic trim coil bending on a siding brake with end wrap and installation. Standard trim coil comes in 24" x 50' Rolls that run between $150 and $200. The two types are plain aluminum and PVC coated. The aluminum is normally smooth where as the PVC coated has a wood grain type finish.
As you will see in the video, the pieces needed to cover the deck rim boards required 3 @ 13 3/4" x 10' plus 2 @ 13 3/4" x 2' 6" to cover all 3 sides. So, you can burn up a 50' roll very quickly. you may be able to use the 10 1/4" x 10' cutoffs somewhere else!!
