Skipping rope is an excellent form of cardio because it elevates your heart rate while simultaneously enhancing coordination and agility through its rhythmic, full-body movements.

When learning to jump rope it is very important to stretch out your calves, legs, ankles and feet as these will usually be quite tight after your first few workouts.
(Note: Only do 1 jump per rotation - don't add a mini jump in between. This will only hinder your progress in the long run, especially when it comes to learning new steps and tricks).
