Space Marine 2 PvP: Retributors-2 vs Crimson Fists Armada [TBSF League Winter 2025 - Div 2]

Описание: Here we go in our first match as the Retributors' second team, RB-2, for The Blackstone Fortress (TBSF) PvP competitive league!

This first league season, named The Throne of Skulls, is separated in 3 parts:
1/ A seeding tournament, which separates the participating teams into 2 Divisions depending on their results, for the second and main part of the season ;
2/ The League itself, lasting 1 to 3 months, is a Round Robin where the teams of each Divisions fight one Best of 5 match against every other team in their group ;
3/ A playoff tournament among the best teams of each Division, to determine the final rankings of the season!

As us RB only had the main team (RB-1) playing the seeding tournament (and coming second!), and split our roster into an "A and B-teams" at the start of the Round Robin, we in RB-2 have automatically seeded at the bottom of the 2nd Division, while the main team has taken the seat they won in the first Division. It goes without saying, but our Clan has received express authorisations for the TBSF organizers for that split, and the League's ruleset firmly covers (and forbids) transfer of players between teams of the same Clan, as to prevent any risk of unsportsmanlike shenanigans.

While most players in RB-2 have some experience in competitive play, not only in SM2 but even dating back to SM1, this was actually our first deployment with this team composition, and most of all, in an actual match - not a mere scrim! With our officiers from the main team watching us from the bench, needless to say the pressure was on to show what we could do! xD
