No.3 R H Smyth / Harvey Enters the Museum

Описание: On Saturday 5th October 2019 Ex Londonderry Port & Harbour Commissions 0-6-0ST No.3 R H Smyth / Harvey was moved into position in our museum for public display after she received a static restoration by myself and 2 of my fellow volunteers you can now view our lovely little locomotive in the carriage & wagon gallery alongside J15 Class loco 186 at Whitehead Railway Museum.

In this video we first see R H Smyth being shunted into the carriage shed by 3BG Guinness on a wet Sunday 21st January 2018 in preparation for the start of her restoration.

Then on Saturday 5th October 2019 also in horrible wet weather we see GM 142 preforming some shunting with R H Smyth then we climb on board R H Smyth and 142 moves her into the gallery.

We still have a few minor jobs to do on her (mainly repainting the cab) as you can see in the pictures at the end of the video we have got her builders plates and name plates back on her also soon we plan to apply either RPSI or LPHC branding on the loco. In the next few years this loco may be resorted back to operational condition
