Experience Budapest by night in this unique walking tour.
I started the walk at the Musical Fountain on Margaret Island, where colorful lights and music create a magical atmosphere after dark. From there, I crossed Margaret Bridge, went down to the Buda riverside promenade, and followed it all the way to the Liberty Bridge, then continued through Fővám tér and Fővám körút.
During this recording, some of Budapest’s most famous landmarks – the Parliament, Buda Castle, Citadella, Chain Bridge, and Elisabeth Bridge – were completely dark. This wasn’t a power issue: the city was preparing spectacular light shows for Hungary’s national holiday on August 20th.
