Описание: In March 2024 we embarked on a ship called "World Explorer" and sailed south to visit the most remote and least explored continent on Earth. This trip was in the making for the last 2 years with tickets booked 18 months in advance. The ship is operated by a company called Quark Expeditions with this voyage being the last in the season. This series will tell a story of our trip to the 7th continent, with this video covering a passage through Lemaire Channel; a short report on zodiac cruises around Pléneau Bay on March 10th, in Andvord Bay and around Danco Island on March 11th; and a landing at Petermann Island on March 10th. On the evening of March 11th, we also did our first-ever Polar Plunge! Overall we are extremely happy with our trip and extremely grateful for the opportunity to visit Antarctica and meet such extraordinary people along the way.
