Thirteen and a half years ago, I set out with a micro-budget and a crazy idea: to make a heartfelt, hilarious sci-fi mockumentary about a man searching for his alien-abducted brother. The result was "The Search for Simon."

We somehow convinced a dream cast of sci-fi legends like Sophie Aldred (Ace from Doctor Who), Simon Jones (Arthur Dent from Hitchhiker's Guide), Chase Masterson (Star Trek DS9), Sir Ian Livingstone (Fighting Fantasy)and Carol Cleveland from Monty Python to join our absurd quest.

The film went on to win awards all over the world and was even called "VERY SILLY" by the one and only Michael Palin!

To celebrate its 13th and a half anniversary, I'm releasing 20 behind-the-scenes vlogs from the making of the film.
