Fake notes have Bharat and RBI written over the security thread. And the security Thread is printed on the note.

2nd point. In Real Note the outline of Mahatma Gandhi is clear and perfectly visible also on the side of gandhi ji 500 white watermark is present.

While, in the fake note, the outline of Mahatma Gandhi is thicker as it is made by using oil or grease.

The 3rd point is the Bleed
line. In 100 and 200 note 4 bleed lines are present. In the 500 note 5 bleed line is present and in 2000 there are 7.

The 4th point is in real note the Ashoka pillar and the seal of RBI is made by Intaglio Printing. and in dark circle 500 will also be present.

The 5th Point. In real note the numbers in top left and bottom right should be in ascending order from left to right with equal spacing between them.

6th point is, in real note you can see the reverse image of rupees 500. It is called latent image

7th point, you can see 500 on both sides of the note on the left side on the real note. In front it will be in white colour and in back side it will be in brownish color.

The 8th point is in the real note, devanagri and regional language will be present.
