✨ what is asmr? ✨
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. The term was created in 2010 by Jennifer Allen and describes a pleasant tingling sensation that starts in the back of the scalp and travels down the spine. The sensation is triggered by several different sensory stimuli, (ie: whispers, soft spoken voice, tapping, hand movements, the list is endless). Everyone who experiences ASMR will be unique and what triggers the sensation in one person may not in another person. It’s just a matter of finding the triggers that work for you.
