Fire saw friction fire with wood no bamboo

Описание: #I quick little video playing around with the fire saw - the fire saw is traditionally used with bamboo in Asia but it can work with wood as well - Tilia/Lime/Basswood/Linden can work well with the fire saw.

I'm just doing this for a bit of fun - there are more efficient methods in the uk such as the bow drill. The fire saw tends to eat through wood so I don't use it much as I like to save my supply of Lime for other methods.

The only main friction method I haven't been successful with is the Fire Thong - Rattan doesn't grow in the UK and I have not found any suitable alternatives in the uk which are strong and flexible like rattan (I've tried bark , ivy, clematis and cord but they all snap.)
