The Rev Scott Rennie was inducted to the charge of London Crown Court on Thursday 5th May at an uplifting service. The sanctuary was full, the music joyous and Scott received a very warm welcome from the Kirk Session, congregation and Presbytery.
The service was led by The Rev Professor Paul Middleton and The Rev Alistair Cumming, and The Very Rev Dr Derek Browning delivered an inspiring sermon. Following the formalities, Deputy Session Clerk Geordie Fergusson thanked The Rev John McMahon for his care and stewardship as Interim Moderator during the vacancy, gifts were presented to Scott, and Rev Peter Johnston shared some entertaining anecdotes!
